A general tip is that it's useful to keep stockpiles of third-tier items and only convert up to higher levels when you need something specific. This enables you to convert across categories easily, which also helps to grind Making Waves for certain conversions. See Section 2 below.

Converting low-value to higher-value items in the same category[edit | edit source]
Conversion rates:
1p/2p items -> 10p items: usually 100:10/50:10 (1 Echo) with a 50% chance to get the additional reward (worth ~30p) which has a low chance of being the rare reward (worth 2.50 Echoes)
1p/2p items -> 10p items: 1000:105 (10 Echoes - > 10.50 Echoes) with no chance of additional rewards
10p items -> 50p items: 50:10 (5 Echoes) with a 50% chance to get the additional reward (worth ~40p) which has a low chance of being the rare reward (worth 12.50 Echoes)
10p items -> 50p items: 500:105 (50 Echoes -> 52.50 Echoes) with no chance of additional rewards
50p items -> 250p items: 50:10 (25 Echoes) with a 50% chance to get the additional reward (worth ~100p) which has a low chance of being the rare reward (worth 25 Echoes)
250p items -> 1250p items: 25:5 (62.50 Echoes) with a 50% chance to get the additional reward (worth ~200p) which has a low chance of being the rare reward (worth 62.50 Echoes)
